Intro to Risograph Workshop

Alphabet Studios has a risograph printer!
Join us for an Intro to Risograph workshop.
Facilitated by Rae Baitx @good_baloney and Mycah Higley @loamy_studio

Saturday, July 25th
10am-1pm

This beginner friendly workshop is designed to show you the basics of riso printing. You’ll learn how the machine works, hear a brief history, and spend time creating your own pieces of art. We’ll experiment with mark making and collage to explore textures and layers. You’ll design and take home a set of 2 color postcards or 8.5x11 prints. Feel free to come with a plan for your artwork, or just show up and see what happens! Participants are welcome to trade with each other at the end of class. Printmakers love a print exchange :)
